S.T.A.R. stands for Students Taking Action Recognition. The S.T.A.R. awards program was started to recognize students for going above and beyond in the community by enriching the lives of those around them. It is not an academic award. All students grades 1-12 in Webster Parish are eligible and anyone can nominate them.

RAINN (Rape Abuse Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. They operate a hotline for surviors of sexual assault, among many other things. This is something that hits close to home for several of our members. It is our honor to help such a worthy cause.

Make-A-Wish grants wishes to children battling life threatening illnesses. The wishes granted by this organization help give the families that receive them a since of normality. We have a family that are members of our organization that have seen first hand the good that comes from this amazing organization. It is our privilege to support such a worthy cause.

Operation Supply Drop assemble care packages which they send to veterans deployed as well as to those in hospitals or to military installations across the world along with supporting events like homecomings, family days, Christmas parties and deployment ceremonies. This is not just US veterans, it is our allies as well. Care packages are littered with amazing games, products, apparel and many other items that truly do “Bring Fun Where There is None”. This program serves to boost morale for those serving as well as their families. It’s our honor and privilege to support this worthy cause.

Flood Relief 2016

In March of 2016, after the flooding, we were approached about doing an event for those affected by the flood in our area. We collaborated Red Planet and CCAM (Christian Church at Minden) to bring a series of tournaments to raise money to help families in Webster Parish. We held four qualifying tournaments at Red Planet and the finals at the fairgrounds with a family fun day with the money being donated to CCAM to help with their flood relief efforts.

Created to help returning veterans find job training and job placement. On the one hand, vets are faced with employers who don't understand their skills and qualifications; and on the other, vets struggle to explain how their military skills, training, and experience apply to civilian jobs. The Call of Duty Endowment was co-founded by Activision Blizzard CEO, Bobby Kotick.

The Joe LeBlanc Food Pantry is a ministry of Christian Church at Minden. They supply food for free to families in need in the Minden area.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats, defeats childhood cancer and other life-threating diseases.
